Please share a bit of your story:
I was overweight and I was very unhappy with myself. I always complained about how I looked but I never did anything about it. Things turned around when I went to a doctors appointment and they told me I had high cholesterol at age 23. I tried many diets but I never was committed. I gave up and went back to my old eating habits. My life changed when I told myself that "I can and I will be a healthier mom". I wanted to be a better role model for my two children. It all started January of 2013, when I started doing home workouts, and changed my eating habits, which was the hardest for me. From there I gained confidence to join a gym and I started to see a difference. I went from a size 13 to a size 5!! I hit my goal weight by the end of July 2013 and have kept it off since then. I used to weigh 169lbs, which at 5'4" tall was not a healthy weight for me. I currently weigh 115lbs!

What/who is your inspiration?
My kids were my inspiration. I wanted to show them how to live a healthy lifestyle.

What encouraging words would you give to someone who shares a similar story? To all the mommys out there; it's not an easy journey but you can do it! You are your own motivation ladies, I wanted to give up many times but I got right back up and gave it my all.
